This successful candidate will have a good knowledge of AC/DC systems. This role serves as a key technical authority, ensuring designs meet our standards for quality, performance, manufacturability, and serviceability. The Product Engineer works cross-functionally with design, production, purchasing, and customer service to deliver engineering solutions that uphold our brand values and meet cost, schedule, and regulatory requirements.  </p><p><strong>Responsibilities</strong>  </p><p><strong>Engineering</strong>  </p><ul><li>Support development of new and existing models from concept through production release.  </li><li>Create and maintain 2D/3D CAD models, drawings, assemblies, BOMs, and change notices.  </li><li>Collaborate with production to resolve build issues and improve manufacturability.  </li><li>Coordinate prototype builds and sea trials; capture feedback and implement improvements.  </li><li>Provide technical support for warranty, service, and field-related issues.  </li></ul><p><strong>Problem Solving &amp; Improvement</strong>  </p><ul><li>Identify and document design or production issues.  </li><li>Apply root-cause analysis and lead cross-functional problem-solving efforts.  </li><li>Implement corrective and preventive actions to improve quality and reliability.  </li><li>Support continuous improvement across models, systems, and processes.  </li></ul><p><strong>Administrative &amp; Facility Support</strong>  </p><ul><li>Maintain accurate drawings, reports, and engineering documentation.  </li><li>Manage multiple projects and meet schedule commitments.  </li><li>Support document control, design standards, and engineering systems.  </li><li>Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area and assist with facility improvement efforts.  </li></ul><p><strong>Qualifications</strong>  </p><ul><li>A degree in engineering or industrial design is preferred; however, equivalent technical training or production-focused engineering experience is also accepted.  </li><li>3+ years of experience in boatbuilding or manufacturing engineering preferred.  </li></ul><ul><li>Proficiency in CAD software (SolidEdge, Rhino, AutoCAD, or equivalent).  </li><li>Strong understanding of marine systems, composites, and production processes.  </li><li>Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.  </li><li>Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced production environment.  </li><li>ABYC Certifications or PE licensure is a plus.  </li><li>CNC programming and 3D printing experience is a plus.  </li></ul><p><strong>Additional Requirements</strong>  </p><ul><li>Ability to interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and regulatory standards.  </li><li>Strong math and computer skills, including spreadsheets and modeling tools.  </li><li>Ability to maintain confidentiality regarding proprietary product information.  </li><li>The Product Engineer works cross-functionally with design, production, quality control, purchasing, sales &amp; marketing, and customer service.  </li><li>Works under general supervision with expected independent judgment on technical matters.  </li></ul><p>&nbsp;  </p><p>&nbsp;</p>]]></media:description></item></channel></rss>
